Merge PDF
Combine multiple PDF files into one, in the order you choose.
Browse files
How it works
- Add your PDF files — drag & drop them or use the browse button.
- Reorder the files with the up/down arrows. The top file comes first in the merged document.
- Click "Merge PDFs" and wait a few seconds.
- Download your combined PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on the number of files?
No artificial limit. Merging dozens of normal-sized files works fine; hundreds of very large files may be slow on older phones — merge in smaller batches if that happens.
Will merging change the quality of my files?
No. Pages are copied exactly as they are: text stays selectable and images keep their original quality.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Merging happens entirely in your browser. Your files never leave your device.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not at the moment — encrypted PDFs cannot be opened in the browser. Remove the password first using your PDF reader, then merge.
In what order will the pages appear?
In the order shown in the file list, from top to bottom. Use the arrows to arrange them before merging.
Do bookmarks or form fields survive merging?
Page content is preserved, but interactive elements like bookmarks and fillable form fields are not carried over.
Privacy
Your PDFs are processed locally in your browser with the open-source pdf-lib library. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or tracked — you can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads and merging will still work.
Honest limitations
- Password-protected (encrypted) PDFs are not supported.
- Bookmarks and interactive form fields are not preserved in the merged file.
- Merging hundreds of very large files can be slow or run out of memory on low-end phones.
