Frequently asked questions

Should I choose PNG or JPG?

PNG is sharper for text and diagrams but creates larger files. JPG is smaller and fine for photos and scans. For documents with small text, prefer PNG or high-resolution JPG.

What resolution should I pick?

150 DPI is enough for screen use; 300 DPI is better for printing. Higher resolutions mean bigger files and slower conversion.

Is there a page limit?

No fixed limit, but converting hundreds of pages at high resolution can be slow and memory-hungry on phones. Convert in parts if needed.

Will the images contain selectable text?

No — the output is plain pictures of your pages.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser.

Can I convert a password-protected PDF?

No — encrypted PDFs are not supported.
