Frequently asked questions

What page formats can I type?

Single pages like "5", ranges like "2-6", or combinations like "1-3, 7, 10-12". Pages are numbered starting from 1.

What happens if I type an invalid range?

The tool checks your input before extracting and tells you exactly what is wrong (for example a page number beyond the last page). Nothing is downloaded until the input is valid.

Does extraction reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied exactly as they are, with original text and images intact.

Can I split a password-protected PDF?

No — encrypted PDFs cannot be opened in the browser. Remove the password first with your PDF reader.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. Splitting happens entirely in your browser; files never leave your device.

Can I extract pages into separate files one by one?

The tool creates one PDF containing all the pages you selected, in the order you typed them.

Privacy

Splitting runs 100% in your browser. Your document is never uploaded, stored, or seen by anyone but you.
